Less Talk, More Walk
by Adam Zack — July 30, 2025

“Eventually, no one listens, no one believes, and even the best ideas get ignored.”
I was talking to a good friend yesterday about companies that love to preach positivity, purpose,
and culture—but rarely do anything about it. They’ve got the mission statements, the values
posters, the catchy slogans, maybe even a culture committee or two. But when it’s time to act?
Nothing. Nada. Zippo. Talk is cheap, and plans without follow-through are just noise. Intentions
that never become action lose meaning fast. Leadership that constantly touts inclusion, values,
and culture but fails to back it up in daily practice erodes credibility with employees and
customers alike. Eventually, no one listens, no one believes, and even the best ideas get
ignored. Bold visions require bold steps. Trying and failing beats talking and stalling—every
time.
